The majority of Wendy’s career has been in media and marketing. She also has extensive experience working across all levels of Government and the Corporate Sector.
Having produced and presented in excess of 1,000 television programmes, Wendy also hosted a politically based radio ‘talkback’ programme. As a former news reader, weather presenter and key note speaker, Wendy has also won Australian cinematography awards for two of her productions. Wendy has held a number of corporate roles, leading communication and marketing teams. She is a former Chair of the Women’s Council of Tasmania and Chair of Women’s Sport and Rec and was a Director of the Port Arthur Historic Site for a decade where she also chaired the internal Governance Committee. She has also been an ambassador for many Tasmanian and National charities.
While currently in this role with TMSA, Wendy is also an Alderman with Clarence City Council and sits on the Tasmanian Racing Appeals Board.
